This experience is customized based on snow conditions and group preference. We choose one of our favorite local routes in Mürren or Grindelwald for the best snow and views each day.
Route options may include:
Chänelegg Snowshoe Trail (Mürren)
Gimmelen Snowshoe Trail (Mürren)
Wetterhorn Snowshoe Trail (Grindelwald)
Typical Distance: 3–5 km
Elevation Gain: +200 to +400 m
Snowshoeing Time: 2–2.5 hours
Total Experience Duration: 5 hours approx. (including transport + raclette picnic) -
Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald train station at 09.00 am.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Escape the crowds and discover the quiet magic of winter in the Alps on a guided snowshoe adventure around Mürren or Grindelwald. Surrounded by majestic peaks and silent forests, this experience is perfect for anyone who loves being outdoors and is comfortable hiking. We’ll walk for about 2–3 hours, with some stops along the way.
A highlight of the day is a mountain picnic with melted Swiss cheese, fresh bread, and local treats — enjoyed outdoors with a view you won’t forget. Along the way, we’ll follow beautiful local trails, share stories about the area, and soak up the stunning alpine scenery.
No previous snowshoe experience is needed — if you can hike, you can join. We provide all the gear, teach you the basics, and make sure you feel confident and comfortable on the trail.
