What should i take for my hike?
We recommend bringing:
Comfortable hiking shoes or boots
Weather-appropriate clothing
Water
Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat
Camera or phone for photos
A swimsuit and towel if your hike includes a lake
Hiking poles (optional) We can also provide them under request
What level of fitness do I need?
Hiking experience and a medium level of fitness. Day hikes range from 10 to 20 km, elevation ranges from +300m to +700m. You should be able to hike for 4-8hours depending on your experience.
Where should we meet?
This will depend on which experience you are joining but the meet up locations can be Interlaken Ost/West train station, Lauterbrunnen train station, Grindelwald train station, depending on the tour. Please contact us if you need a different meeting location.
Can I personalize my experience/adventure?
Absolutely! Whether you're looking to celebrate a special occasion, have a special hike request, or a different adventure in mind, we’re here to make it happen. Just share your interests or the type of experience you're wishing for, and we will happily create a customized adventure/weekend just for you.
What is the cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours in advance, no refund if cancelled within 48 hours of the tour start time.
In case of bad weather (e.g. storms, high winds), we offer to reschedule the tour, or provide a full refund if rescheduling isn’t possible.
What’s included in the tour?
Each tour includes a friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate local guide, a carefully planned route, and delicious picnic with local specialties or a meals in a mountain hut (depending on the tour). Snacks are also provided along the way. For 2-day hikes, hut fees including dinner and breakfast are included.
What’s not included in the tour?
Transportation is not included in the tour.
What is the minimum age to join a hiking tour?
+16 years old.
